CSIR - UGC (NET) Exam Syllabus for Engineering Sciences 2013

Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) India has published a notification for exam for wards of Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lecturership.

CSIR - UGC (NET) Exam Syllabus for Single Paper in Engineering Sciences for the year 2013 will consists of 200 Marks with following Parts

Part ‘A’:
This part shall carry 20 questions of General Aptitude (Logical reasoning ,graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparisons, series formation, puzzles, etc). Candidates shall be required to answer any 15 questions. Each question shall be of 2 marks. Total marks allocated to this section shall be 30
out of 200.

Part ‘B’:
This part shall contain 25 questions related to Mathematics and Engineering Aptitude. Candidates shall be required to answer any 20 questions. Each question shall be of 3.5 marks. Total marks allocated to this section shall be 70 out of 200.

Part ‘C':
This part shall contain subject related questions of the following 7 subject areas :
1.Computer Science & Information Technology
2.Electrical Science
3.Electronics
4.Materials Science
5.Fluid Mechanics
6.Solid Mechanics
7.Thermodynamics

KSET Notification 2013, KSET Application, Syllabus for Karnataka

KSET Notification 2013 released by University of Mysore, Karnataka. KSET stands for Karnataka State Eligibility Test to get jobs as lecturersin Universities and Government colleges. KSET Exam for the year 2013 will be conducted on 8th of December 2013.

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET) center for Lectureship, University of Mysore, Mysore will be holding the Test on 08th DECEMBER 2013 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility for Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) in various universities / colleges / Institutions (Government / Aided / Private) in Karnataka State. K-SET center will conduct the test in 32 (Thirty Two) subjects (listed under item no. IX) at 11 (Eleven) selected Centers (listed under item no. X) spread across the Karnataka State.

Candidates who qualify the K-SET will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of lecturers (Assistant Professors) of the concerned Universities / Colleges / Institutions (Government / Aided / Private) in Karnataka State. KSET Exam Syllabus will be a set of 3 Papers.

Technical knowledge - 100 Marks

Paper II

The questions will be of Degree level in Physics/Diploma level in concerned subject.

The interview for the post of Engineering Assistant will be of 100 marks
